Shopkick is an app for smartphones, iPhones, Tablets and other electronic devices that will reward (refer to Two Ways to Redeem Your Shopkick Rewards section below) you after you complete several activities (refer to 8 Offers You Can Complete on Shopkick to Earn Rewards section below) during your in-store or online shopping processes.
This company was co-founded in 2009 by three investors namely, Cyriac Roeding, Jeff Sellinger, and Aaron Emigh. Unfortunately, it was not recognized and popular until in 2013 when its partners reported that the app had driven over $2.5 billion sales and 200 million store visits.

How does shopkick work?
Step One: Download the Shopkick App
Like I mentioned earlier, the Shopkick app is free and you will not be required to pay anything to access it. Visit this download link here and get the app from Google Play.
Step Two: Pick a reward
Open the app after you successfully download and install it. Once it launches, a prompt window will ask you to pick the type of gift card you wish to earn rewards from. You do not have to obsess too much about this step because you can always change your choice later. However, you need to pick at least one option to be able to move to the next step below.
Step Three: Create your account
Similar to every process of creating an account online, Shopkick also allows you to use your email address, Facebook or Google to create an account. You need to fill out all the required details in the signup form. Once you are done, they will send you a verification link either via text or email.
Step Four: Complete offers

There are several stores and Shopkick partners that will pay you to walk into stores. To earn kicks or points using this method, you need to turn on the Shopkick app before walking into the store. 2. Scan Barcodes
The Shopkick app comes with an in-app scanner which reads through product barcodes. All you have to do is turn the app on then hold your phone close to the product barcode as shown in this video. Once the scanning is complete, you earn points.
