Prayers, Decrees, and Declarations for Dismantling Evil Altars
Altars are places where destinies are either blessed or cursed.
Evil altars, in particular, are established to perpetuate wickedness, oppression, and destruction in the lives of individuals, families, and even entire communities.
As believers, it is our responsibility to stand in the authority granted to us through Jesus Christ and dismantle these evil altars, rendering them powerless.
In this journey of faith, one of the most potent tools believers possess is the power of prayer, coupled with decrees and declarations rooted in the Word of God.
[A] – PRAYERS
Prayer is our means of communication with God.
It is through prayer that we invite God’s intervention in our lives and situations.
Prayer is not just a religious ritual but a powerful weapon of warfare.
It is through prayers like the ones below that we align our will with God’s will and invoke His power to dismantle every evil altar that stands against us.
Prayer for Exposing Hidden Evil Schemes
Job 28:11 – “He makes known the sources of the rivers and brings hidden things to light.”
Prayer: Father in Heaven, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You expose every hidden evil scheme, plot, and agenda working through evil altars against my life. Let every secret of the enemy be revealed, and may all demonic plans be brought to light and destroyed. I declare that Your truth will shine and break through the darkness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer for Deliverance from Evil Altars
Psalms 56:13 – “For You have delivered my soul from death, and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for delivering my soul from the schemes of the enemy. I pray that You would deliver my steps from stumbling into any traps set by evil altars. Guide me in the path of righteousness, and let Your light shine on my way as I walk in Your purpose. Protect me and my loved ones from the influence of evil altars. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Prayer for God’s Covenant to Prevail
Psalms 74:20-21 – “Have regard for the covenant, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.”
Prayer: Oh God, let Your covenant of mercy, peace, compassion, love, provision, protection, and redemption prevail over every scheme of the enemy. Lord, rebuke every spirit of cruelty and oppression and command them to flee and release their grip on the lives of Your children. Let Your justice prevail, O Lord, and let Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer for Victory Over Accusation
Revelation 12:10 – “For the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, rebuke every spirit of accusation, condemnation, and slander. Command them to flee from our midst and be cast into the abyss, never to rise again. I proclaim victory over the accuser of the brethren, and we declare that now is the time of salvation, strength, and the manifestation of the kingdom of God on Earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer for Strength in Temptation
Luke 22:31-32 – “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.”
Prayer: Oh God, in the face of adversity and temptation, may I be upheld by Your mighty hand. Strengthen me, O Lord, in my inner being, that I may stand firm in the face of the enemy’s attacks. May Satan’s schemes and desires to sift me as wheat be thwarted by the intervention and intercession of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer for Scattering Evil Powers
Acts 4:26 – “The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed one.”
Prayer: King of kings and Lord of lords, arise and scatter the rulers of this world and the hosts of darkness that gather against You and Your anointed. May You render every attack launched against Your people and Your kingdom powerless. Cause Your kingdom shall advance amid opposition and persecution. The gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer for Breaking Hindrances
Luke 16:16 – “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it.”
Prayer: Let every hindrance, every obstacle, and every stronghold that stands in the way of people coming into Your kingdom be broken by the power of the efficacious name of Jesus Christ. Cause our souls to be stirred to press into Your kingdom through the preaching of Your Word. May our hearts be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the proclamation of the gospel. Amen.
Prayer for Purification from Lust
Numbers 25:6 – “Just then one of the Israelites came and brought a Midianite woman into his family, right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel.”
Prayer: God, purge, prune, kill, and refine any lust in me that a spell can latch onto. Take away everything in me that a curse can take advantage of, bringing me into pollution, defilement, and desecration. Let every curse or spell that seeks to influence me towards abomination be destroyed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer for Holiness and Peace
Numbers 25:11-12 – “Phinehas, son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites. Therefore, tell him I am making my covenant of peace with him.”
Prayer: God, connect me with Your steadfast and righteous spirit. Teach me to walk alone in righteousness, and I obtain the grace for living in blazing holiness. Give me Your covenant of peace that keeps me pure and preserved from demoniac forces. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer to Cut Off Negative Influences
Revelation 2:14 – “Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam.”
Prayer: God, cut off anyone positioned in my life to bring negativity through demoniac advice. Let my desire to listen to any advice, teachings, or messages that pass subliminal demonic influence dry up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
[B] – DECREES
A decree is a formal and authoritative order.
In the spiritual realm, a decree is a declaration of God’s will, backed by His authority.
When we make decrees, we are not merely speaking words; we are releasing the power of God to enforce His will on earth as it is in heaven.
Decrees are powerful because they carry the weight of divine authority.
Decree for Drying Up Demonic Resources
Hosea 9:14 – “Give them, O Lord—what will You give them? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.”
Decree: Almighty God, I come before You and ask that You dry up every resource fueling the operation of evil altars working against me. Just as You caused the wombs of the wicked to miscarry and their breasts to dry, I decree that every demonic influence, witchcraft, and satanic agenda against my life and family will dry up in Jesus’ name. Every source of power for these altars is cut off by the blood of Jesus. Amen.
Decree for Breaking Witchcraft and Idols
Micah 5:12-13 – “I will cut off witchcraft from your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers.”
Decree: I decree that every form of witchcraft and every idol that has been erected against me is cut off and destroyed. Let every evil altar associated with occultism be dismantled and rendered powerless, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Decree for Overturning Evil Decrees
Ezekiel 21:27 – “I will overturn, overturn, overturn it! And it shall be no longer until He comes whose right it is, and I will give it to Him.”
Decree: I decree that every evil decree spoken against my life and destiny is overturned by the authority of God. Let every negative plan, scheme, and plot against me be nullified through divine intervention.
Decree for Destroying Pagan Altars
Deuteronomy 7:5 – “But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire.”
Decree: I decree that every pagan altar and idol is broken down and destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. Let every high place of darkness, where wickedness is practiced, be brought low and dismantled completely.
Decree for Terrorizing Enemies
Exodus 23:27 – “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.”
Decree: I decree that every enemy that rises against me is filled with terror and confusion. Let their plans fail, and their attacks be rendered ineffective and powerless by the strength and power of God.
Decree for Deliverance from Troubles
Psalm 34:17 – “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.”
Decree: I decree that all my troubles are met with divine deliverance. Let every affliction or trouble caused by evil altars turn into testimonies of God’s goodness and mercy in my life.
Decree for Subduing Nations and Powers
Psalm 18:44 – “As soon as they hear of me, they obey me; foreigners submit to me.”
Decree: I decree that every nation, power, or force that rises against me is subdued and brought under the supreme authority of God. Let all evil altars be defeated, scattered, and rendered null and void.
Decree for Receiving Nations as Inheritance
Psalm 2:8 – “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
Decree: I decree that the Lord will give me the nations as my inheritance. Every evil altar seeking to hinder my divine destiny is dismantled and destroyed in the name of Jesus.
Decree for Scattering Enemies
Deuteronomy 28:7 – “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”
Decree: I decree that every enemy pursuing me is scattered and defeated. Let every plan or plot against my progress be rendered powerless by the intervention of the Most High God.
Decree for Fearlessness in Adversity
Psalm 23:4 – “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Decree: I decree that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Let every evil altar that seeks to bring fear and death upon me be broken and destroyed in Jesus’ name.
Decree for Breaking Yokes of Oppression
Isaiah 10:27 – “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”
Decree: I decree that every yoke of bondage and oppression placed upon me by evil altars is broken by the anointing of God. Let the power of God destroy every chain and barrier set by the enemy, and may I walk in complete freedom.
[C] – DECLARATIONS
Declarations are affirmations of God’s truth.
When we declare God’s Word over our lives, we are reinforcing our faith and activating God’s promises.
Declarations serve as a constant reminder to ourselves and the spiritual realm of God’s sovereignty and the victory we have in Christ.
Declaration of Abundant Life
John 10:10 – “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Declaration: I declare that I am living the abundant life promised by Christ. Every evil altar set up to steal, kill, or destroy is rendered powerless. I claim the fullness of life that Jesus has given me, and no altar of darkness will stand against my divine inheritance. In Jesus’ name, I walk in abundance, peace, and purpose. Amen.
Declaration to Overcome Opposition
Isaiah 11:15 – “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River.”
Declaration: Lord Jesus, arise and utterly destroy every word spoken against me in accusation, condemnation, and deception. I declare that every river of opposition, every barrier that seeks to hinder our progress, is smitten by Your hand. Let Your mighty wind blow over me, O Lord, shaking off every attack of the enemy and bringing forth Your divine intervention. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration for Defeating the Enemy
Esther 6:13 – “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”
Declaration: Heavenly Father, just as Haman fell before Mordecai, I declare that every adversary working against me through evil altars will fall in defeat. Let every plan and strategy of the enemy be frustrated, and may their efforts be thwarted. I declare victory over all powers of darkness in Jesus’ name. Let the works of the enemy crumble as I stand in the authority of Christ. Amen.
Declaration for Awakening from Spiritual Slumber
Ephesians 5:14 – “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Declaration: Thank You, God, for calling me out of spiritual slumber and darkness into the marvelous light of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I declare that every spirit of lethargy, apathy, and spiritual blindness is broken by the power in the Lordship, Name, and Blood of Jesus Christ. We declare that we are awakened to Your purposes and plans for our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration of Life and Purpose
Psalm 118:17 – “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”
Declaration: I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord. Every altar of death and destruction is nullified in Jesus’ name. My life is preserved by God, and no evil altar can take away the purpose He has ordained for me. I will fulfill my destiny and testify of God’s goodness in the land of the living. Amen.
Declaration of Shielded Faith
Ephesians 6:16 – “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”
Declaration: I declare that every fiery dart of the enemy is quenched by the shield of faith. Let every attack of evil altars be neutralized by the power of God. I stand firm, protected by the armor of God, and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. My faith is my shield, and I am victorious in every battle. Amen.
Declaration of Overcoming Power
Romans 8:37 – “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Declaration: I declare that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. Every evil altar attempting to hinder my victory is defeated. In the name of Jesus, I rise above every obstacle and walk in triumph. Christ has already won the victory for me, and I live in that overcoming power every day. Amen.
Declaration of Supernatural Blessings
Deuteronomy 28:12 – “The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand.”
Declaration: I declare unexpected blessings are coming my way. I will move forward from barely making it to having more than enough. God will open up supernatural doors for me. He will speak to the right people about me. I will see Ephesians 3:20 exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond favor and increase in my life.
Declaration of Accelerated Blessings
Amos 9:13 – “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.”
Declaration: I declare that God will accelerate His plan for my life as I put my trust in Him. I will accomplish my dreams faster than I thought possible. I will not take years to overcome obstacles, get out of debt, or meet the right person. God is doing things faster than before. He will give me victory sooner than I think. He has blessings that will thrust me years ahead.
Declaration of Fulfilled Dreams
Isaiah 14:27 – “For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?”
Declaration: I declare God’s dream for my life is coming to pass. It will not be stopped by people, disappointments, or adversities. God has solutions to every problem I will ever face, and they are already lined up. The right people and the right breaks are in my future. I will fulfill my destiny.
Declaration of Divine Plan
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Declaration: I declare that God has a great plan for my life. He is directing my steps and even though I may not always understand how, I know my situation is not a surprise to God. He will work out every detail to my advantage. In His perfect timing, everything will turn out right.
Declaration of Timely Opportunities
Habakkuk 2:3 – “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Declaration: I declare it is not too late to accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. I have not missed my window of opportunity. God has moments of favor in my future. He is preparing me right now because He is about to release a special grace to help me accomplish that dream. This is my time. This is my moment. I receive it today.
Declaration of Divine Protection
Psalm 121:7-8 – “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”
Declaration: I declare that the Lord will keep me from all harm; He will watch over my life. The sun will not harm me by day, nor the moon by night. Every evil altar seeking to harm or hinder me is destroyed by the power of God. I am secure in His protection, and my going out and coming in is covered by His grace.
Declaration of Protection Through Trials
Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
Declaration: I declare that as I pass through the waters, they will not overwhelm me. When I walk through the fire, I will not be burned. Every evil altar set up to drown or burn my destiny is dismantled by the power of God. I walk through every trial and emerge unharmed, protected by the hand of the Almighty.
In conclusion…
One thing is clear: action is required.
Faith is not passive, and neither is your authority in Christ.
The evil altars that have attempted to hold you, your family, and even your future captive do not fall because you wish them away—they crumble when you act in faith.
God has given you these tools—prayer, decrees, and declarations—to exercise our faith against every evil altar.
Your words have the power to either bind or release, to speak life or permit oppression [Matthew 18:18-20].
You are not helpless against spiritual forces.
You have the authority to dismantle strongholds, to uproot generational curses, and to invoke the blessings and favor of God in your life [Colossians 2:15].
The enemy thrives on your inaction, but he trembles when you speak in alignment with God’s Word.

Then rise up—speak, decree, declare—and watch the power of God dismantle every evil altar in your life.
You are more than a conqueror, and no altar can stand against the God who fights for you [Romans 8:37].
