“Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:30, KJV)

This verse reveals a divine sequence—foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification, and glorification. This sequence unveils the very blueprint of God’s plan for His children unfolding in three phases: eternity past (before we were formed), our present life (fulfilling the mission assigned to us), and our eternal future (our glorification in heaven). Let’s explore these five hidden scripts of destiny and the prayers that unlock them so that we can walk in divine purpose.

One, Revelation of God’s Foreknowledge

Before we were ever conceived, God already knew us. This truth is evident in His words to Jeremiah: “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5) The idea of foreknowledge means that God was intimately aware of us before we were physically formed. David echoes this sentiment in Psalm 139:16: “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” (Psalm 139:16) Our lives are not accidental but carefully scripted by God as seen in these two examples. One, Daniel received insights into God’s divine records when the angel Gabriel spoke of the scripture of truth (Daniel 10:21). Two, Jesus Himself spoke of fulfilling what was written in the volume of the book (Hebrews 10:7).

Prayer:Heavenly Father, I thank You for knowing me before I was formed. Help me to walk in the purpose You have written for me. Reveal to me what was written in Your book concerning my life, and align me with Your divine plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Two, Surrender to God’s Predestination

Predestination is the assignment of a divine purpose before we enter time. God told Jeremiah that he was ordained as a prophet to the nations before his birth (Jeremiah 1:5). Likewise, John the Baptist was predestined to prepare the way for Jesus. John 1:7 says: “The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.” (John 1:7) Our assignment is predetermined. However, many of us struggle to walk in our predestined purpose due to misalignment or resistance to God’s plan. Walking in destiny requires yielding to the will of God.

Prayer:Heavenly Father, I surrender to Your predestined purpose for my life. Open my eyes to understand the calling You have placed upon me. Let me not walk in confusion but in the clarity of Your divine will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Three, Acceptance of God’s Justification

Justification is how we step into our destiny in time. It is through salvation that we become qualified to walk in our God-ordained purpose. Romans 5:1 declares: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1) Our adoption into God’s family occurs only in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:5). Without justification which gives us a right standing before God, one cannot access the fullness of their divine purpose. Accepting Christ is the first step in unlocking the destiny written in eternity past.

Prayer:Heavenly Father, I thank you for justifying me through the work of you son Jesus Christ on the cross. Help me to fix my eyes on Jesus only as my only target and goal in this life (Hebrews 12:2). Grant me the capacity to have a ‘single eye’ on Jesus only as the center of my life in all I do (Matthew 6:22). Help me to walk in the righteousness You have given me. Let me not miss my divine purpose through sin or ignorance. Align my heart with Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Four, Conformation To Christ’s Image

After salvation, the process of transformation begins. We are called to be conformed to the image of Christ daily by the inner workings of the Holy Spirit. Romans 12:2 instructs: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2) This transformation occurs through the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). The more we grow in Christ, the more we reflect His image, enabling us to fulfill our divine mission.

Prayer:Holy Spirit, renew my mind and transform me daily. Let me grow in the likeness of Christ so I can fulfill my God-given destiny. Break every worldly influence hindering my transformation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Five, Faithfulness Until Glorification

Glorification is the final phase of destiny—our eternal future in God’s presence. Philippians 3:21 says: “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” (Philippians 3:21) Jesus ascended into glory as a man, proving that we are meant to partake in divine glory. 1 John 3:2 confirms: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)

Prayer:Heavenly Father, keep me faithful until the end so that I may partake in Your eternal glory. Let me run my race with endurance and finish well. I long to dwell in Your presence forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

In conclusion, your life is not a random occurrence. It was written before time began. God foreknew you, predestined you, justified you, is conforming you, and will ultimately glorify you. Understanding these hidden scripts allows you to align with God’s divine plan and walk boldly in your destiny. Through prayer, revelation, and obedience, you can unlock the fullness of your God-ordained purpose.
